Our journey started with a group of friends frustrated about eBook marketing, gathering reviews and all the boring work. We enjoyed writing books, creating fictional worlds and characters and letting our dreams run wild. But, getting our books into the hands of actual readers was very difficult.
On a Hot Summer Day, four friends met for a simple brunch. Being authors, books were the center piece of discussion. After discussing our current creative endeavors, little tricks, favorite authors, latest books and timeless dialogues, discussion took a turn to more practical stuff.
Getting book reviews and initial readers is proving to be a difficult task. Amazon is strict about gathering eBook reviews from friends, family and fellow authors. Looking for beta-readers on good-reads and other forums is a time consuming process. Buying industry reviews for Kirkus Reviews is a costly option. Soliciting reviews from Bloggers had a low success rate. That is when we got this idea of Reviewer pooling.
Reviewer Pooling is a simple process. We signed up friends of friends who would be interested in receiving a free book in return for an honest review. We started with 10 connections and now are a group of 1000+ readers spread across multiple genres. Each genre is managed by 1 team leader. We run contests, giveaways, rewards to keep our group tight knit and engaged.
Every Dollar that you spend with us goes towards managing our teams. This is an effective way to gather reviews for a book, gain visibility and create a fan base eager for your books. We have helped dozens of authors over the past 2 years and it has been a very enriching experience.
